Our History

The seeds of ALIM were planted when Pastor Jerry, along with a team of conscientious and dedicated Christians, met on December 16, 2007, for a time of encouragement through Scriptures, Bible study, and prayer. It was then that the vision of establishing a ministry that would cater to individuals and families of all cultural backgrounds, promoting Christ-like love, and at the same time, seeking to bring lost souls into the abundant life of Christ was affirmed.

On December 31, 2007, ALIM was born. A congregation of believers was established to exalt the name of Jesus Christ. God immediately showed His approval of this ministry by blessing and increasing our membership. Additionally, a suitable place was secured for worship services. Since 2008, ALIM has been meeting at Hope Presbyterian Church in Richfield, MN, located at 7132 Portland Avenue South.
